May 26^th brings the first Eclipse of the year, a Lunar Eclipse in Truth seeking Sagittarius. Eclipses are noteworthy events in Astrology as they’re like super amped up lunations. A Full Moon Lunar Eclipse could have emotions and sensitivity cranked up to eleven. It’s best to give yourself some space and to be flexible the days surrounding an Eclipse. There’s an element of surprise to Eclipse energies, often with sudden endings and new beginnings while the Universe uses eclipse energies to shuffle the deck and put you on path. 

Although Sagittarius is a sign that likes to focus on future possibilities and solutions, this Eclipse is connected to the South Node, linking it to the past, suggesting that there’s still something that needs to be wrapped up. 

This phase brings a turning point to events set in motion on the New Moon Solar Eclipse back in December of 2020. Situations involving the law, legal issues, lawyers, courts and judges could come to a head now.  This period also highlights media and broadcasting. Perhaps you’re launching a website or podcast, marketing, advertising, promoting, selling, or going public with a message. The area in which the Eclipse falls in your chart will show where you’ll experience this wave of energy. 

Jupiter, the ruler of this Lunar Eclipse, recently dipping into the depths of Pisces’ waters for the first time in nearly twelve years, nudges this lunation, illuminating the shadows and things behind the scenes, bringing a chance to catch a glimpse of things hidden, unknown, mysterious and obscured, daring you to open your mind, challenging what you think you thought you knew, testing your faith, as something you hear or learn could run counter to your beliefs. You’ll need to tune into your Higher Guidance to find your Truth. 

Mercury and Venus catch up with each other just before Mercury does an about face in his home sign, Gemini. Mercury will retrograde from May 29^th- through June 22^nd. Communications can go a bit wonky when Mercury retrogrades so try to be clear in your conversations, double check your emails, texts, addresses, directions, etc. It’s not advisable to buy electronics, appliances, automobiles or to sign documents while Mercury the Messenger is out of phase. Use the time to do your research and shop around instead.   When Mercury is retrograde, it’s a time to revisit, revise and review, not for starting something new.

News or information that you hear could have you taking another look at plans and ideas or questioning assumptions. During this period, you may get a shout out from someone you haven’t heard from in quite a while or you could catch up with old friends, neighbors, siblings, classmates, maybe even an old love. You’ll enjoy making the rounds, visiting and socializing, chit chatting and sharing news and ideas.

Mercury retrograde and Venus in Gemini, Mars in Cancer, Neptune and Pallas in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn all act together, inviting an exchange of ideas and plans, activating your gut reactions, protective emotional responses and psychic senses that turns on the ability to see how the pieces of a greater scheme fit together on multiple levels so that you can fine tune and get over any hurdles.
