The Gemini New Moon on June 10^th is also a Solar Eclipse. Eclipses hold a lot of weight in Astrology as they seem to propel events forward at an accelerated speed. There’s an element of surprise, along with sudden endings and beginnings to the energies of an Eclipse so it’s best to give yourself some space to move and room to grow during this powerful portal of time.  With Gemini energies, there’s bound to be many plot twists and turns, multiple meanings and double speak.



A Solar Eclipse is like a powerful New Moon times ten giving your intentions an added impact as new beginnings are activated for the year ahead in the part of your chart in which it falls. You can learn more about that in my monthly coaching program, Lunar Living.

Although a Solar Eclipse typically brings fresh starts, Mercury retrograde is intricately linked to this lunation, suggesting that you’re covering old ground, revisiting plans and ideas, reviewing facts and data, there’s something you need to take another look at. You may arrive at a different conclusion or make different choices than you would have before.  

This Solar Eclipse is connected with the North Node signifying it’s rooted in the future. The new perspective that you’re left with after this period determines the direction you’re heading.   

Gemini rules over communication and information, logic, reason and cognitive function; the perceptions that you build your world around. During this phase, there’s lots of calls and conversations, questions, news and information coming in quickly from all directions. It may be difficult to keep up with it all and to keep it straight as it’s a very fluid situation. You’ll have to keep an open mind and be prepared to change it often.

You may not even be sure what you think anymore as Neptune in Pisces casts it’s fog into the fray, blurring the lines and bringing confusion and uncertainty. It’s important to try to communicate clearly but things you hear could leave you perplexed, there could be misunderstandings and outright lies. All is not as it seems. 

To some, things could seem unbelievable or overwhelming, others may feel daydreamy, creative or mystified. This influence is not known for it’s clear headedness, but it is good for tuning into things on a more intuitive level. 

During this period, you may also recall conversations and situations from the past, playing out mini movies in your mind. Your may gain other insights and nuances, enabling you to see things in a new light. 

On another level, this points to the role of the media, in sync with the technocrats and political establishment and the social engineering by way of misleading information, facts or figures, false narratives, along with unknown, unverified or anonymous sources or information that’s withheld, concealed, denied or removed. 

Saturn retrograde in Aquarius connects favorably with the Gemini New Moon Solar Eclipse giving some grounding, stability and detachment to your plans, ideas and goals.   You may be rethinking some of your aspirations, accomplishments and your position on important matters, and your reality, measuring them according to your own standards rather than those of the larger society.   

Just days after the Solar Eclipse, Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus have their second of three squares on June 14th. These are social shapers that color the year 2021. Matters move along quickly when these two interact in this way, bringing rapid changes on the social scene. Their first meeting was back in February, and it’s easy to see, how quickly things have shifted in a short time. Saturn is about rules, authority, boundaries and limitations, while Uranus is about shaking things up, doing things outside of the box, freedom, originality and individuality. We’re witnessing in real time the powerful forces of these two heavy hitting planets sparring against each other, leaving a mark on the fabric of society. 

Ceres is also pulled into the squabble between Uranus and Saturn, suggesting that it’s time you find your tribe in alignment with your vibe, spurring you to form a community of like-minded souls. You’ll know them when you meet them. 

On another level, Ceres is known as the Goddess of grain and agriculture, with her being so close to Uranus in Taurus, we could see fluctuations in the costs and availability of such things, perhaps owed to distribution, or issues with the equipment, as Gemini rules over automobiles, roads, routes, ways and all moving parts, inducing a sort of manufactured shortage.   

Mars is in the last degree of Cancer, holding an opposition to Pluto in Capricorn since the 5^th. This is a powerful influence, while positively manifested, it provides the might to move mountains, but on the other hand, there can be emotional upheaval, anger, resentment, force and even violence in some cases. There could be emotional triggers and habitual responses that compel you to recognize and remove your resistance in patterning and personal matters.   

Shortly after the Eclipse, Mars moves into fiery Leo while still engaging with Pluto. Things start heating up as you push for authentic expression, creative and unfiltered, letting your heart lead the way, burning through obstructions and obstacles and letting nothing stand in your way of your pursuit of happiness.
