The Aquarius New Moon February 9^th is the Opener for the Age of Aquarius, setting the stage for moments of astonishment and disbelief, along with insight, inspiration and discovery as Uranus in Taurus nudges this New Moon. This Lunation sends shockwaves through your system as there’s plenty happening seeming to come from out of the blue, a feeling of acceleration and escalation.  Things could be thrilling and exciting or unsettled and uncertain or perhaps All of the Above - this is Wild Card Energy and anything goes.   

On another level, Senses are Awakening and coming online catching you by surprise carrying new levels of awareness, as new frequencies come in, liberating stuck energies. 

Financially speaking, there’s economic instability, fluctuating markets and changes with banking, currencies and values. 

Venus in Capricorn also aligns with Uranus in Taurus carrying changes and a new set of conditions regarding banking and financial systems. 

In terms of love, long-term relationships and associations could see constructive changes and a few pleasant surprises. 

Mars is moving into a meetup with Pluto in Aquarius by the 14^th, Igniting the transformational powers of Pluto on society at large. Pluto just made an historic move into Aquarius on January 20, for the first time in nearly 250 years.

During this phase, the atmosphere is loaded with building pressure, volatility and instability, giving a feeling as if things could be set off at any moment. The explosive nature of these energies could spark a situation which acts as a catalyst for chaos and commotion, So be mindful of your surroundings, use caution while driving and stay away from dangerous areas. There’s tension in the air that can feel uncomfortable, a powder keg situation. Try to keep your Vibe High and avoid engaging in arguments and power struggles as situations and people will be on edge and easily triggered. Notice your own impulses and reactions too and work to keep them in check.   

On another level, there’s a surge of power, energy and movement pointing toward regeneration and renewal, shifting tracks and new trends, though it may feel somewhat intrusive and uncomfortable initially – like being zapped with electricity. 

There could be new friends and alliances or you become involved with a community, organization, or association that has the power to transform your life and take things in a new direction. Unity is Key.  

Mercury in Aquarius and Jupiter in Taurus bump heads, calling for an open mind, giving you room to grow and to give a little on some of your inflexible opinions and beliefs, with the space to change your mind as you come to learn new information or given a different perspective.  You don’t know what you don’t know. There’s an opportunity to adopt a new story and a new script as you begin to see things in a New Light.

This New Moon also marks the Chinese New Year – The Year of the Wood Dragon. The Dragon is the most Vital and Powerful in the Chinese Zodiac. Dragons are associated with Leadership, Dominance and Ambition as well as Courage, Tenacity and Intelligence. Dragon Energy is willing to take risks and doesn’t back away from a challenge.
