The Capricorn New Moon on January 11^th is the first New Moon of 2024. If you make resolutions for the New Year, then this lunation is the time to re-resolutionize and set your intentions for the year ahead. The year gets off to a strong start, so whatever you begin during this phase has the power and potential to flourish and succeed. 

Uranus in Taurus aligns favorably with the Capricorn New Moon bringing constructive changes that are evident and may be reflected in your income and earnings. There are new models and systems, perhaps with business, banking, technology and automation or new schedules and itineraries which are easily implemented with disciplined efforts aiming for your targets, bringing obvious results. 

Uranus goes Direct on the 26^th and by then - all planets are moving forward for nearly the first half of the year, giving the go ahead and moving things along rapidly in Quantum Leaps. Get your affairs in Order early on to avoid being left behind. 

Saturn in Pisces is the ruler of this New Moon, while favorably aligning with Mars in Capricorn and Jupiter in Taurus – suggesting that you’re more than willing to roll up your sleeves and put forth extensive energy pursuing your visionary goals – and they’re beginning to pay off as you make measurable progress.

Mercury is close to the Galactic Center bringing forth Divine Messages – tune in- before moving on into Capricorn on the 14^th granting your mind focus and concentration on your aspirations and purpose.

The New Moon will make its way to meet up with Pluto, which is in the last degree of Capricorn. It’s as if the New Moon is bidding farewell and giving a sendoff, granting it’s Blessing, as Pluto prepares for departure from Capricorn and moves into Aquarius January 20^th. This is the biggest energy shift of the year and perhaps of our lifetime as Pluto hasn’t seen this slice of the Heavens in nearly 250 years. Pluto gave a sneak peek to these energies briefly from March through June in 2023. Pluto will retrograde back into Capricorn for a short time later this Fall to wrap up the reconstruction and clean-up phase before moving into Aquarius again, set to stay there until 2044 shaping the next two decades. 

Pluto in Aquarius is revolutionary energy, marking a collective shift in Consciousness and Awakening, following a dark night of the Soul. Pluto symbolizes Death and Rebirth and this period points to the Evolution and Rebirth of Humanity, by stepping into (Y)Our Birthright and Power.   

The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon reads, “a relay race” symbolizing the passing of the baton while changing and shifting from the past and a former way of being and doing things,  into a new and hopefully Improved Future. 

On January 20^th the Sun and Pluto meet in the very last and very potent degree of Capricorn, while stepping together, arm in arm into Aquarius, shining a light on Power, Authority, corruption and abuse, Humanity, and the Power of the People. This echoes and emphasizes the degree of the Great Conjunction that transpired on the Winter Solstice of 2020, marking the beginning of the Age of Aquarius. 

While at the same time, Venus in Sagittarius connects with the Galactic Center, showering down Divine Love and Blessings at this historic time of transition.   It never ceases to amaze me how the Universe sets up the unfolding of these events on the Cosmic Clock. 2024 hits the ground running!
