Jupiter’s year-long transit marks a period of evolution, where you have opportunities for inner exploration and self-improvement, to discover your personal truth and live it. Look to your personal chart to see which area of life you will experience Jupiter’s wisdom. 

During Jupiter’s trek through Scorpio’s Underworld, it brought the light of truth to many dark corners. Much has been uncovered and brought to the surface. Scorpio rules over sex, abuse of power, control and things that are taboo. We saw this play out on the world stage as the Harvey Weinstein scandal broke, the dawn of the “Me too” movement, the sex scandals within the church, USA gymnastics or the Supreme Court, issues dealing with ethics and right and wrong regarding sex/sexual behavior in the workplace; just to give a few examples of this powerful phase. 

 On the personal level, you were compelled to dig deep, to get to the core, doing your inner work, your shadow work and doing away with anything extraneous, that’s not part of your truth and no longer serving a purpose. You may have explored issues dealing with anger, rage, jealousy, violence and abuse. Growth was experienced by being raw, open, exposed and vulnerable, perhaps creating closer connections, knowing who’s got your back, who you can trust while learning to trust your intuition and inner guidance. 

This energy shift may feel dramatic as Jupiter surfaces from the murky waters of the Underworld. Life may feel a bit lighter as you gain faith in the future, feeling positive and optimistic. After all, Jupiter expands everything, and being in its own sign, there’s an extra helping of generosity, luck, success, and progress. Take advantage of opportunities that come your way and don’t be afraid to stretch yourself a little. Be brave and adventurous. 

Just about one year ago Saturn moved out of Sagittarius. Saturn toured Sagittarius from December 2014 to December 2017. That time may have felt restrictive, testing your faith, limiting your opportunities, while responsibilities and obligations piled up with some hefty stumbling blocks in your path; so, the expansive nature of Jupiter here may feel welcomed and long overdue. Freedom is on the rise as you seek a more meaningful existence. 

The words “the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me god” come to mind when I think of Jupiter in Sagittarius. During this phase there may be some great grenades of truth being thrown – a full disclosure. An open mind is recommended as you widen your beliefs, opinions and worldview. 

Jupiter in Sagittarius may bring travel opportunities your way or encounters with people of other cultures and countries. Universities and higher education may be in your future or the law, legal issues, courts and judges or matters of faith and religion may become important for you. 

Speaking of law or religion, Jupiter and Sagittarius rule over Natural Law as well as the law of men, in addition to ethics, judgement and sense of right and wrong. 

Spending time in Nature can be very beneficial during this period. Take time to explore natural wonders. 

Matters involving publishing, broadcasting, promoting, advertising or marketing could become significant to you now.

This can be such a positive period with tons of possibility as long as you don’t overreach (too much). Be assured that many blessings are on the horizon.
