This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse puts an emphasis on accountability, authority and objectives, abiding by the rules and standard models of conduct. During this phase it’s possible that your business or career is in focus, maybe your name is spotlighted and on the lips of upper management, or other people in high places. Perhaps light is shed on your purpose, position or role in some matter of importance. 

 

 This phase may bring a turning point to the goals you set around Christmas time last year at the Capricorn New Moon Solar Eclipse. You may be required to strike a balance between your public persona vs. being in your most private space.  

Your parents, early life and role models may also be highlighted during this period; or perhaps it’s your personal parenting style that’s pointed out. It’s likely you’ll need to come to a compromise between caring and coddling to fostering responsibility, dependability, discipline, consistency and a regular schedule you can live with.

  

It’s possible this shows up around managing your lifestyle or, perhaps, in recognizing and owning your moods, patterns and automatic responses and where they’re rooted; as well as recognizing your feelings toward authority. The last couple of years, while the Eclipses have been in Cancer and Capricorn, may have clued you into many of these tendencies, allowing you space to do your inner work. This period is now reaching its conclusion. 

Mercury is retrograde in Cancer and connected to this Eclipse reminding you to take another look at memories and musings as you recall and talk about the past.  

Uranus in Taurus connects with this Eclipse bringing forth noticeable real-world changes. There’s market instability, fluctuating finances, uncertainty, unexpected costs, changing prices and profits, not to mention the constant shifting rule-book; there may even be a unique appeal and changing tastes or styles that supports turning the tide of an establishment, organization, institution or something that seemed rock solid, unwavering or resistant.  

Saturn, the ruler of the Capricorn Eclipse, has recently backtracked into his own sign, Capricorn, after a short stint in Aquarius. Further emphasizing being in charge, and the consequences and results of your guidelines or directives. Now it’s time to redefine goals, rework your schedule, re-build a business or structure, reconstruct frameworks or redraw boundaries. Saturn and Capricorn also represent maturity, experience and old age and these themes could present at this time.  

During this period you’ll want to re-examine rules, regulations, protocols, systems as well as supervisors and deciders. Reconsider your position on what accomplishment, attainment, status and realization means to you personally. Get down to the bare bones of what is essential and what is of utmost importance to you and build upon that. 

Jupiter and Pluto just connected for the second of three times this year; although they’ve been closely linked all year, shaping and defining this year as one catching a major overhaul, dismantling and deconstruction while at the same time, it’s a period of restoration, rebirth, growth, progress and renewal. Your faith and beliefs that you’ve formed your life and even your identity around, along with your world view and sense of morality are getting a make-over. It’s a messy process and it’s difficult to navigate through all the nastiness and see the light at the end of the tunnel as we experience this collective evolution of the ages.
