April closes with a rare and special second New Moon in Taurus which is also a Solar Eclipse. Eclipses are a big deal in Astrology, and a New Moon Solar Eclipse is like a New Moon with ten times the power and oomph. Eclipses have a way of seeming to speed up events and move things forward at an accelerated rate. The new beginnings seeded now can impact the entire year ahead.

Eclipses are often a time of change and uncertainty, there’s a lot of shifting taking place as this is one of the ways that the Universe puts us on path. It’s best to keep your schedule light, if you can, the days surrounding this powerful portal of time. 

This Eclipse promises to be a stunner, throwing electrifying vibes our way as the New Moon is closely connected to Uranus in Taurus bringing an element of excitement and surprise. There are rapid moves and changes coming out of the blue. This lunation has a way of getting you to do things differently, pulling you out of your comfort zone. There’s a new sense of self-worth that’s liberating and refreshing. 

There could also be big shake-ups with financial markets and banking, economic instability, or changes to earnings, costs and currency. 

Taurus is an Earth sign and Gaia may be shaking and quaking as things are shifting during this phase. Or perhaps there are other Earth-Sky anomalies. 

On another level, this phase serves as an opening for awakening senses coming online, being plugged in, grounded into the Earth, cranked on and lit up bringing in a new awareness of the subtle and shadowy, that’s been previously undetected or unknown, perhaps coming as a shock.

What’s more is that Venus, the ruler of this Eclipse, meets up with Jupiter in Pisces, while Neptune is still close by.  This influence is just beautiful with a very refined and expansive love vibration. It almost doesn’t get better than this!  Lucky in love and with money – and this suggests a whole lotta love and money. This is the sort of enchanted effect that is beyond your wildest dreams.

A rare and powerful alignment between Jupiter in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn opens at this Eclipse portal, and is operational for the two weeks to follow, while peaking on May 3^rd. 

During this phase you’re leveling up in big ways as your belief systems evolve, deepening your faith and understanding while removing any barriers to your Higher Guidance, Wisdom and Truth, quickly advancing you along in your spiritual evolutionary journey. May 11^th brings a major energy shift as Jupiter enters Aries for the first time since 2010 and set to stay for the next twelve months. Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, so this marks a new chapter of growth and evolution, the beginning of a new 12-year cycle. Gone are the days of feeling sleepy, meditative, reflective and contemplative. You’re in for an energy boost.  You’re ready to get out, spread out and explore- in the mind and in the great outdoors and the farther out there, the better.

There are many firsts during this phase, feeling more fearless and courageous, you’re willing to lead or take risks, branching out in new directions, perhaps based on new belief systems, a belief in yourself, a deep knowing, which boosts your confidence.
