The Capricorn Full Moon June 21^st falls on the heels of the powerful Summer Solstice- known as the longest day of the year, with an abundance of Light, Nourishment and Fruitfulness.

As the Sun makes its annual move into Cancer joining Mercury and Venus, there’s a focus on Home, Family, Land, Property and their Safety, Security and Protection. This phase also puts an emphasis on Origins and Roots, Parents and Parenting, Traditions and the Past, Feelings of Belonging or feeling ‘right at home’ with certain people or places. 

Although Capricorn is ruled by serious Saturn, this Full Moon has an abundance of watery energies, making this a period that’s emotionally and psychically sensitive – feeling all the feels. Being in or around water is encouraged. Additionally, there may be issues with water, flooding, leaking or marine life. 

This Lunation highlights your Goals and Accomplishments bringing a turning point to things set into motion at the start of the year. You may now begin to see some of the effects and outcomes while assessing whether or not it’s been a successful run. 

Saturn, the ruler of the Capricorn Full Moon, is in Pisces and will retrograde at the end of the month until mid-November hinting to the need to go within and measure success by your own standards, by how things feel and if this fulfills an inner sense of purpose or a spiritual purpose. Or there may be more personal realizations and private triumphs. 

By focusing on the things that are important, meaningful and that matter most to you, you’ll be able to prioritize how you spend your time and energy. 

Pluto in Aquarius connects with this Full Moon pointing to fine-tuning and integration the transformations underway in some area of your life.

It’s interesting to note that this is the first Capricorn Lunation since Pluto made a historic move out of Capricorn and into Aquarius.  Pluto visited Capricorn from 2008-2024 and will briefly dip back into Capricorn in the Fall.

Capricorn and Saturn are synonymous with Structure, Authority, the Rules and Restrictions, Responsibility, Accountability, Maturity, and the constructs of our Reality. During the many years that Capricorn hosted Pluto, our foundational cracks were revealed and exposed while the Universe required some heavy lifting, excavation and reconstruction while re-drawing your Boundaries in the area of your chart where Capricorn is placed. It’s been a lengthy, and at times, a painful process as things were stripped down to the bare bones while discarding, terminating or eliminating anything no longer viable or valid. It was like living in a House that’s under construction- messy and inconvenient but worth it in the long run. Now you’re experiencing these energies and this area of your Life in a new way.

Neptune is in the last degree of Pisces – the very last degree of the Zodiac which is a first for any of us alive today and it’s nudging the Full Moon sprinkling the atmosphere with magickal vibes, stimulating fantasy and imagination.
