On February 17^th Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus meet for the first of three scrappy squares in 2021, shaping the year ahead. This is a rare aspect that we haven’t seen since way back in 1999-2000 and we won’t see it again after this year until 2043.  This is a social shaping aspect bringing speedy shifts and periods of tension. There’s a feeling of insecurity and anxiety in the atmosphere as if things could pop off at any moment. Remember Y2K and the mood of uncertainty and excitement surrounding the idea of moving into a new millennium? These two powerful planets face off again June 14^th and December 24^th, but their influence will be felt throughout the year. 

The influence of Saturn square Uranus colors all of 2021 as an atmospheric tension builds with a changing of the guard, the old against the new. The social order and societal restrictions and fear drives economic instability and shifts in personal wealth and earnings, triggering agitation, disobedience and defiance as well as those adapting and coming up with alternatives and creative new routes while using technology. There may be changes in banking and lending system or in the value or worth of currencies. There could be groups with differing values sparking the establishment of grassroots communities and movements. There’s a squabble between those that have a love of liberty and appreciate freedom, independence, sovereignty vs. the controls and limits on such things. Other matters to include or involve in no particular order of importance - big tech, corporate profits, big pharma, technocratic surveillance state, technology that assists and advances humanity, AI, new ways of generating or creating energy, energy costs, medical and healing advancements, space exploration and enterprises, ownership and personal wealth, changes in real estate markets and property values, independence, and free expression.

While many of the systems and structures are being dismantled and simultaneously rebuilt, restructured and restored, the challenge is to establish systems that work for everyone, while still appreciating individuality, originality, and self-ruling autonomy. 

On another level, as the Earth and her inhabitants’ senses awaken, and come online, while raising the frequency, triggering the collective timeline shift.
