The Leo New Moon August 16^th keeps the emphasis on Love, relationships and matters of the Heart as Venus, the Goddess of Beauty and Love is  retrograde and closely connected to this lunation. While Juno, the Goddess of Marriage, symbolizing significant others and partnerships just joined the soiree in Leo. 

This phase opens you to a new level of Love and Creation after a period of intense Heart Healing, Clearing and Recalibration. It’s a Deep Dive into Self-Love as the relationship with Oneself sets the stage for all others. 

Chiron retrograde in Aries connects with Venus retrograde and the Lunation in Leo, bringing in yet another wave of healing, and a leveling-up, providing a pathway to reconnect and repair bonds and attachments of the past in a space of timeless time. Feel the Magick.

This phase may also bring new starts to creative endeavors as talents and gifts come online now or are Rekindled now. Children’s matters, mentors and mentoring may also be in the mix. 

You may feel a new enthusiasm and stirring for an old love, someone or something that you once loved and enjoyed, or something you had a passion and flair for, has perhaps captured your attention once again. Or it may be that you’ve recently REdiscovered things that you did for fun, that kept you entertained and amused, perhaps long forgotten parts of yourself are REmembered and Reconnected.  You’re now being nudged to finally be brave or confident enough to let it out as it’s now being integrated into your personality; while in fact, it has always been there, as part of a core identity that’s been covered under the layers of the ‘not-self’, perhaps due to being told you couldn’t, shouldn’t or mustn’t. There could also be a focus on actors, performers, or entertainers.

This also shows up as Loving, Healing, Protecting and Defending Children, especially those that are victims of sexual abuse. 

Uranus in Taurus shoots a jolt to this lunation, sending a few shockwaves to your system, bringing excitement, shake-ups and surprises. You may be feeling more spontaneous, coming up with creative musings that are outside of your norm but feeling inspired and courageous enough to give it a go. In matters of Love, it’s like being struck by lightning. Some could experience this as unsettling – as there may be a change of Heart. But surely something is stirring in your Heart, pushing you to DO something about it even if that means acting out of character.

There’s also quite the configuration and exchange between Pallas, Mercury and Mars in Virgo, Chiron in Aries and Uranus in Taurus. This influence moves things along very quickly and comes quite suddenly and unexpectedly, having an impact on your everyday life.
