The Gemini Full Moon December 7^th is the last Full Moon of the year, and it promises to be an eventful phase, bringing revelations that may burst your thought bubble as Mars retrograde is closely connected to this Full Moon.

 This lunation urges you to take another look at situations, information, messages or conversations, even things that may run counter to your beliefs, as this influence is pressing you to use your better judgement and review some of those things that you think you thought you knew or that you may have missed, gaining a new perspective, and seeing things in a new light. 

Mars is taking an extra-long tour of the sign of the Twins. Gemini hosts Mars from August 2022 throughout the year until March 2023, an unusually long time, spending several weeks in retrograde motion from late October 2022 until mid-January 2023 providing an opportunity to play catchup on some missed material.

Mars is about action and assertion while Gemini is communicative and curious. This is on-the-go energy, keeping you busy, especially on the mental plane, bringing lots of ideas and plans, news, updates, gossip and chatter your way. You’re impelled to speak your mind and while Mars is also a combative influence, words can be harsh or biting, what you hear or say may be upsetting or offensive. There could even be breaks or blocks in communications. The masks drop during this phase, possibly bringing forth admissions, confessions, acknowledgements, declarations or disclosures. 

The last Full Moon of 2022 also holds a rare and special event- the Occultation of Mars. This is a sort of Eclipse of Mars by the Moon. Symbolically, this puts a point of focus on the Mars energies, that of movement, motivation, efforts, initiative, direction, activity and behavior that’s been obscured, in the dark, then revealed and brought to light. This Celestial event will be visible in these areas.  

The Sabian symbol for the Full Moon and Mars reads, “the head of a youth turns into that of a mature thinker”, suggesting that you take another look at a situation, seeing it differently, through a new lens of awareness, and then basing your actions on wisdom gained.

Saturn in Aquarius connects favorably with the Luminaries, signifying a turning point in the establishment of communities, groups and networks that are local and/or online sharing information, ideas and opinions with an added emphasis on the media and social media platforms. Expect more verbal attacks, blocked communications, informational warfare, keyboard warriors, misinformation and disinformation as things come to a head now. 

While there will be much vying for your attention these days, with several - look here not there - distractions and diversions; the good news is that Venus is closely linked with the Galactic Center bringing forth Source Love Energies, enabling you draw on Divine Guidance. Avoid burn out from information overload and being pulled in multiple directions by tuning into what feels in your heart to be True.
