The Leo New Moon August 4^th is an opening for things close to your Heart and for getting in touch with your creative side, your passions, and the things that Light You Up. Spend some time playing with your Inner Child, listen to what he or she wants - Sing, Dance, Paint, Draw and Love You a little more! 

It’s interesting to note that this particular New Moon falls in the same degree in which the Love Goddess, Venus turned to direct motion last summer, after her powerful Deep Dive retrograde period. That phase brought a reckoning for matters revolving around Love and patterns of Relating, Self-Love, Self-Worth and Self-Acceptance, while also giving space for RE-connecting with people or parts of yourself that have always brought enjoyment or with things that you have a knack or a flair for.  That period brought about Heart Healings and Re-calibrations. This current phase commences an upgraded 2.0 model You that’s Living Out Loud - from more of a Heart Centered lens, granting you more Courage and Assurance by being Genuine and Authentic and kicking things up a notch. There could be the start of a new Love or Passion Project.

Venus in Leo also finds herself in another complex configuration during this phase that’s shifting your Love Vibration, while fine- tuning and refining your connections, aligning with your ideal images and deeper visions and attracting your Heart’s Desires.

Mars and Jupiter in Gemini align with the New Moon bringing a rush of activity and social engagements. You’re likely to feel fired up, Energetic and Enthusiastic with the Motivation to Expand your Horizons, aimed toward your Future as you Explore new territory, while letting your Curiosity drive you to Question and Learn new things- Free your Mind and pursue Knowledge and a deeper Understanding, while developing a more Positive, and Growth Mindset.

You could also have a lot to say, feeling confident and bold enough to convey your message in a straightforward manner, bluntly speaking what’s been on your chest.  This influence can bring a “go big or go home” vibe with plenty of theatrics and drama to boot. 

It’s a busy time for being out and about, seeking adventure, traveling abroad or for several short trips. This influence favors getting outdoors and getting moving by walking, biking, hiking, skating, etc.   

Children’s events and activities could also be in full swing.

You might be psyched about your latest and greatest big idea or large-scale plans and undertakings, and eager to get going.

Perhaps you’re launching a new website, advertising or marketing campaign. 

There could also be Big News, Disclosures and Admissions during this phase, especially as the energies build with Mars and Jupiter moving closer to their two-year meetup on August 14^th then later taking part in a more complex configuration as we approach the very eventful Full Moon August 19^th. More about that later.

Mercury in Virgo is slowing down and will retrograde from August 5^th – August 28^th. As a rule, Mercury retrograde is a time to Revisit, Revise and Review and not a time to start something new. Mercury in Virgo likes to dot the I’s and cross the T’s, wanting to get to the finer points of a matter. You might be reviewing your plans, data, reports, news and information, proofreading, making adjustments, corrections and refining things, giving attention to the details.  

This phase favors clearing clutter and paperwork, re-organizing your environment or reworking your routine so that your day-to-day functions more efficiently.

It may also be time to take another look at Health and Wellness matters and practices, news, reports, data or protocols, cures, and therapies.
