April opens with an Aries New Moon on the 1^st, in what looks to be an energetically eventful month ahead. Buckle up.   



This is warrior wayshower energy - it’s raw, independent and fierce, bravely blazing through new territory while approaching things in an original way.  The keys to unlock new doors are in hand now and you’re moving through them fearlessly. Everything feels fresh and enlivening – it’s as if there’s a new way of being and doing. 

And with the energies we’ve been bombarded with lately, a lot has been surrendered and shed giving a clean slate. 

A New Moon symbolizes new beginnings but since Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, this New Moon kicks off a whole new cycle for the year ahead. 

The theme of health and healing continues during this phase as Chiron is closely connected to the New Moon. You could be on the mend, in recovery or working with a new doctor, healer or practitioner. Maybe there’s a new remedy, therapy or protocol that you’re using. 

Or You could be interested in alternative healing modalities such as chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, hands on energy healing, crystal healing or frequency healing to name a few. 

Additionally, there may be emotionally painful episodes that you’re learning to move through and let go of, responding and behaving in new ways.

On another level, this is a commencement of initiation as you’ve leveled-up.     

Hygiea in Scorpio and Ceres in Gemini are also active in this lunation, bringing attention to women’s health matters such as menstrual cycles, menopause, reproductive, ob/gyn, fertility, and child birthing, etc. 

Mercury the messenger is also closely connected to the New Moon, pointing to new plans and ideas, communicating directly, speaking your mind, even to the point of being blunt or argumentative in some instances. 

Mars in Aquarius, the ruler of the Aries New Moon, moves closer to a meetup with Saturn, marking a new cycle of efforts toward your visionary goals. Your moves are well thought out and calculated, controlled and disciplined. Your efforts are more future oriented rather than right now realizations and immediate gratification. You’re grinding along, with the mindset of a marathon vs. a sprint. Things may not move as quickly as you’d like so patience is needed. Alternatively, you could experience this as feeling blocked, restricted or restrained in your efforts to move ahead.

Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces are moving closer to their meetup on April 12^th. But the misty magic of this influence is already being felt and will be active for most of the month.

This is a rare and special aspect which we haven’t seen the likes of since May-June 2009 when they met in Aquarius. The last time they met in mystifying Pisces was way back in 1856! Needless to say, these aren’t forces that unite often.   

Pisces is a sign which both planets have a special affinity with as Neptune is the modern ruler of Pisces, but before it’s discovery, Jupiter was the ancient ruler. 

This is an influence that encourages you to dream big. Its effects can feel very spiritual and inspired, granting deep faith, knowing and understanding as your psychic sense and intuition develops and grows. This magical phase can bring unbelievable opportunities, spiritual solutions aligned with natural law, and otherworldly happenings beyond your imagination. One of Jupiter’s superpowers is Truth while Neptune is full of depth, mystery and secrets which can serve to uncover a what appears to be a grand illusion, big lie or massive cover-up. 

This influence symbolizes water - a lot of water – bringing to mind -oceans, waterways, marine life, boating, ships, floods or leaks, cleansing, washing, or flushing out. 

Healthwise, you could do a detox, cleanse, sauna or sweat lodge during this phase. Alternatively, watch for overdoses, poisoning or toxicity. 

The flip side to this influence suggests having blind faith and being deceived or disillusioned or bluffing and overplaying your hand. Or perhaps there’s a major disappointment, substantial loss or a far-reaching sense of mourning, grief, sorrow or mass confusion.
