The Aries New Moon March 24th is an opening to healing as it’s closely connected to Chiron, but things may get worse before getting better, but it will get better. Chiron’s symbolism is that of the “Wounded Healer” archetype but Chiron is also known as being a maverick. Chiron’s connection suggests doing things differently than we’ve done before, to look for alternatives and creative solutions in navigating this new territory we find ourselves in. Channel your inner warrior, bravery and strength as we break new ground.
The Nodal Axis is activated by this Aries New Moon, with its close connection to Chiron, acting as a bridge from the past, propelling us toward the future as we step into a new paradigm.
Mars, the ruler of the Aries New Moon, converges in Capricorn along with heavy hitters Jupiter, Pluto and Pallas, giving a lot of power, energy and force to remove obstacles, eliminate resistance and to clear the way for a major structural overhaul and restoration using foresight and strategic planning. And as of right now, most of us are forced to restructure our lives, goals, plans, agendas, arrangements, schedules, businesses, etc. while the world takes a collective pause. While many may feel anxiety and concern, resist feeding your fears of lack and scarcity and instead focus on what you CAN do.
Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn moved into Aquarius, just minutes before midnight March 21st. The last time Saturn was in this slice of the heavens was from February 1991 through January 1994; Saturn’s Aquarian odyssey lasts into 2023.
This influence kicks off with ‘social distancing’ which is very fitting as Aquarius is the sign of social circles and peer groups and Saturn has a restrictive influence. This is the situation for now but that doesn’t mean that that’s the way it’s’ going to stay. That being said, there may be other permanent changes to the structure of our modern society. During this phase you may consider your liberties, taking them seriously-especially as they are now curbed. This influence pairs independence and responsibility perhaps by establishing sustainable communities, co-ops, grass roots organizations, possibly even the formation of a new political party giving more power to the people.
The “world wide web” was introduced the last time Saturn toured Aquarius, forever changing our lives and we may see other possibilities of technology realized that we would have thought impossible just a short while ago. This period may make working and schooling remotely and digitally from home the new norm in many cases. That in itself could change the landscape of many cities and towns as the need for office space is reduced, perhaps there will be more businesses sharing space, or maybe people are condensed into smaller areas, possibly using technology for everyday purposes in such things as smart homes and cities. There could be changes to our power grids and the ways we use energy. These are just a few examples as this influence lasts for a few years, so we shall see. This period becomes the framework of our future – let us co-create it wisely.
New Moon Blessings and Good Vibes to ALL. Everyone stay safe and healthy!
